【Dialogue CGTN】CPPCC and Consultative Democracy

Beginning March the third, over 2000 members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Nation Committee will discuss major issues concerning China’s development over next 10days. Not surprisingly, some of the riskers in the West had argued over the years that the China will be always held back by the selected democracy, but the Chinese leaders had alone and widely promoted the consultative democracy in their own way.
The Dialogue Studio had invited Professor Jia Qingguo, a CPPCC Standing Committee member, Dr. Wang Huiyao, a Counsellor of China’s State Council, and Mr. Fraser Cameron, director of EU-Asia Center, to discuss the many issues related to the CPPCC’s annual meeting and the consultative democracy.
